Houghton Academy has been part of my life ever since I was a little child. My mother graduated in the class of 1939 and my grandmother taught here for 30 years. Now I’ve worked here for over 30 years. I grew up with the Headmaster so he is my friend as well as my boss. You might say that Houghton Academy is “in my blood”. I love the school and I love the kids. For me the Academy is a mission field right in my back yard. I feel that the most important responsibility that I have is praying for our students. I’m very thankful that I can work here.
