“Body…mind…spirit…voice…it takes the whole person to sing and rejoice!” So goes a familiar rhythm chant that sums up the privilege of teaching music. Making music requires the effective use of our physical bodies and a keen engagement of the mind. Beyond that, music reaches to our very heart and soul, connecting, speaking, encouraging as nothing else but Scripture and the Lord Himself can do. It is my hope that our students here become music-making disciples for an audience of One.
