“It ain’t over til it’s over,” was stated by the great philosopher Yogi Berra. I try to apply that idea to my own life and to kids’ lives as they go through the highs and lows that life brings. As we face life head on, we encounter frustrating moments, moments of elation, and simple moments of silence.

Whatever the situation, we should remember Yogi’s proverb while not forgetting how we apply the simple truth from Colossians 3:17 which exhorts us, “Do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

What an honor to serve the Lord at Houghton Academy and be able to share his truth with young people from around the world.
