MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Houghton Academy is to offer young people a college preparatory education within the framework of a Christian worldview.
VISION STATEMENT
Since 1883 the vision of Houghton Academy has been to teach and nurture its students so that each young person understands the need for a personal commitment to Christ; comprehends the importance of a life of service; grows toward a mature understanding of our society, history, and natural worlds; develops in physical ability and strength, and exhibits appropriate social courtesies. This vision is best realized through the faithful service of mature Christians who model and teach these values.
