Learning a language is a task that requires enthusiasm, passion, and a lot of motivation. In the courses that I teach here at the Academy, whether in English or Spanish, I try to spread this excitement for language learning with my students. I use several methods to accomplish this. Through singing, writing, drawing, and acting, we try to have fun with the language learning process. I feel that every student learns differently, thus I take an eclectic approach to my teaching style.
While returning to my alma mater as a teacher may not have been a part of my after college plans, it was definitely what God had in mind. I am very thankful that He has brought me here to work with His children.
