Houghton Academy

SEVIS

The Student Exchange and Visitor Information System

Houghton Academy is authorized by the United States Department of Homeland Security to enroll international students.

Non-resident aliens may attend Houghton Academy for multiple years. Approved applicants will receive a document called an I-20, after which the student must schedule an interview appointment with the nearest United States Consulate or Embassy.

Students who “pass” their interview at the Consulate or Embassy will be granted an F-1 student visa, which will allow them legal entrance to the United States.

Houghton Academy has enrolled international students since the early 1950s.
