Prospective Students' Day

February 19, 2018

Houghton Academy will host a Prospective Students’ Day on February 19, 2018, for students throughout Western New York, entering grades 7-12 for the 2018-2019 school year. The day will run from 8:00 am - 3:05 pm.

Prospective Students’ Day will give students the chance to experience a normal school day at Houghton Academy. Current students will serve as hosts to visitors as they meet with teachers, enjoy a complimentary lunch, and attend classes with young people from around the world.  Whether their child is attending the all-day class visitation or not, parents are invited to a special Q&A Forum from 2:00 – 3:00 pm.  with school academic and admission officers

“Houghton Academy offers an accredited alternative to families seeking to educate their children in both heart and mind,” explains Head of School, John Nelson. “We guide students to authentic living and deep learning while preparing them to lead globally and love boldly for the glory of God. As a Christian boarding and day school, we invite local families both in and out of Allegany County to prayerfully consider the benefits that will accrue to their child via the investment in a Houghton Academy education.”

Houghton Academy has offered an exceptional college preparatory education based on a Christian worldview since 1883. Students from across the globe are prepared to live authentically, learn deeply, lead globally, and love boldly for the glory of God.
