Description: This in-person, one-day academy will bring together K-12 teachers from various schools seeking professional development in curriculum and assessment best practices. This event is a collaboration between Houghton Academy and Houghton University's Education Department, which is committed to the continuous professional development of all teachers to benefit all students. All attendees will have an opportunity for sustained professional development through online quarterly peer mentoring.

 

CEUs from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) are available. If interested, please inquire about other professional organization CEUs.

 

Details:

Date/Time: Monday, October 14, 2024, 8:00 am- 4:00 pm.  

Cost: $135 one day/ $185 with quarterly mentoring to follow.

Lodging: Hotel and camping in the area are not included in the academy fee.  

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included in the registration fee.
